When you finally decided to take out life insurance one of the many questions that the adviser asked you when assessing your health was whether you were a smoker or a non smoker.
Besides being bad for your health, by being a smoker you will be required to pay more for life insurance cover than a non-smoker.
By quitting smoking you could be eligible for a reduction in your life insurance premiums if:
- You have decided to quit smoking and stay that way for at least 12 months, and then you can ask for re assessment of your life insurance premiums.
- You will have to have no intentions of smoking tobacco or any other substance in the future.
- Hopefully you decided to give up smoking on your own accord and were not told to do so due to a medical condition associated with smoking.
By kicking the habit you too can save money on your life insurance premiums. ...
